Career Technical Education (CTE) Programs
CTE programs equip students with industry-standard skills by teaching them how to use real-world equipment and software. Our CTE programs are aligned with Idaho’s needs, ensuring that students can readily find jobs upon graduation.
The Midvale School District offers the three career technical education programs listed below.
Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources
The agriculture program prepares and supports individuals for careers within the agriculture industry. The Vocational Agriculture program is involved in the student association of the Future Farmers of America (FFA). Classes in construction are also taught within this program. Information about the program can be found on the Idaho Division of Professional-Technical Education website.
Business and Marketing Education
Business and Marketing classes focus on planning, organizing, directing and evaluating business functions essential to efficient and productive business operations. Information about the program can be found on the Idaho Division of Professional-Technical Education website.
Family and Consumer Sciences
The Family Consumer Science program is designed to train students to improve the lives of individuals, families and communities. Midvale has an active chapter of the Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). Information about the program can be found on the Idaho Division of Professional-Technical Education website.
